Required: Full Stack Developer with strong skills in Python and VueJS or React, gained within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Rapidly expanding SaaS company requires a Full Stack Developer to join their successful team, based at a client site in Derby. Must have excellent commercial development skills in Python server-side and also frontend skills in JavaScript, VueJS, TypeScript and/or React, with RDMS skills in SQL Server. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum is essential; experience of Elasticsearch / Kibana would be highly advantageous.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take your development skills to the next level, working with key stakeholders and technical experts to ensure the best product is delivered across multiple projects. A major part of the role will be to help support the technical development of others in the team, so it is essential you are comfortable with this remit!

Please note that due to the sensitive data held by this organisation, the role is 100% office based and you will need to be able to pass SC Security Vetting in order to secure the post of Full Stack Developer.

Requirements

• Demonstrable recent experience working in full-stack web development including Python backend development, with knowledge of JavaScript, VueJS, TypeScript and/or React on the frontend
• Experienced within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch and Kibana would be highly advantageous
• Experience with frontend web application state management - Vuex or Redux
• Experience of writing unit tests for frontend web applications e.g. vue-test-utils
• Good experience of relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server
• Excellent team player, able to help upskill more junior developers within the department
• Good communication skills – will be working on client site, so must have proven
