Your role

We are looking for a 3rd line Core Application support Engineer to maintain a complex secure solution. The role will primarily involve incident management on their clients’ live system, on incidents that have been escalated from 2nd line resources that are often remotely based environments. Additional scope of responsibilities will include delivering infrastructure development and testing of upgrades, patches and new software solutions.

We are looking for dependable and experienced support staff that are not afraid to own problems and incidents and deliver solutions to issues. A broad skill set and experience base is desirable; but equally, if you regard yourself as a subject matter expert in a technology area listed below, then you could find yourself involved in some exciting project work.

Your experience

•     Strong knowledge/experience in the below
•     SharePoint – Server management, SharePoint permissions, SharePoint Application integration
•     VMWare Horizon VDIs  
•     vSphere virtualization
•     Group Policy management
•     Oracle
•     IIS
•     File Share and NTFS permissions

Good knowledge/experience in the below

•     Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 or later
•     Lync/Skype
•     Exchange 2013/2016
•     PowerShell and other scripting experience
•     SQL
•     PKI
•     Apache
•     Hyper-V

This is a 6 month Contract role which has been deemed inside IR35.
