Remote interviews are tough, but the ease and flexibility they offer means for many companies, they're here to stay... And with a lot of candidates and fewer jobs, you need to maximise EVERY opportunity open to you. So what can you do to make sure they go as well as possible?
There are a few obvious thoughts here - test your camera and microphone, think about where you're going to conduct the interview from - Don't broadcast from a messy kitchen! And have a dummy run on the platform you're going to use, talk to a friend, do whatever you can to ensure the setup is good, that you are loud enough... you don't want to be messing around with settings mid-interview! Essentially, as with every interview, preparation is key!
